Beginning March 12, 2024 the Geneva City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Geneva Community Center. Going forward the meetings will be held the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m.
Geneva is home to 537 residents on the northwest side of Geneva Lake and located along Interstate 35 between the cities of Owatonna and Albert Lea.
Our economy has 35+ businesses and employs over 300 people. Geneva takes pride in the many city-wide fundraising events held throughout the year to raise money for the fight against cancer.
Geneva was platted in 1857, but our post office has been in operation since 1855.
The city was named after Geneva, NY and was the birthplace of Lawrence B. Anderson (1906-1994), noted architect and educator who graduated from the University of Minnesota and lead the architecture school at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
